MALEI LUGMAV OF SMALLER PEOPLE

The Derech Chaim says that even a small person, whose Malei Lugmav is less than 'most of a Revious', does not need more than his own Malei Lugmav to be Yoitze Kiddush.  The Biur Halacha does not believe this situation to be so straight forward.  Since the Gemara in Pesachim says the Shiur is 'most of a cup' (Revious) maybe that should be the smallest acceptable Shiur to be Yoitze.

DRINKING A MALEI LUGMAV (A CHEEK FULL)

A person is required to drink at least a Malei Lugmav from the Kiddush wine, and if he does not, he is not Yoitze. The Shiur of Malei Lugmav is like the shiur for eating on Yom Kipper, that is, enough liquid to be able to push the drink to the side of the mouth and fill one cheek.

The Taz says that we should follow the Minhag of the Mechaber of washing after Kiddush, and not go according to the Rama. He claims that the Ran (brought three Shiurim ago)expresses the main Shita, besides agreeing to the Rif, Rambam and R'Amram. His explanation retains some of R' Bruna's assumption (i.e. not to make Kiddush on wine after washing) but not like the other explanations that say that R' Bruna was completely refuted.
