RAISIN WINE

One is allowed to make Kiddush on raison wine. It must be made with raisins that still have some moisture ("honey") in it that would come out if squeezed. If there is no moisture and nothing comes out without soaking them, you cannot make Kiddush on that wine.

UNDILUTED WINE

The Bahag writes that one may make Kiddush on undiluted wine though it is very strong (and which is normally diluted to three parts water to one part wine). Even so, the best way to drink this wine is to dilute it in order to give it the best possible taste. Our wines, which are considerably weaker than those used in the days of Chazal, are better if they are not diluted.

WHITE WINE - PART 2

In the last Shiur we brought the Ramban that Pasuls white wine for Kiddush. The Ritva, however, permits making Kiddush on it. He learns it from the Yerushalmi we brought that it is a "Mitzva" to use red wine for Kiddush, inferring that one is at least Yoitze Kiddush with white wine. Tosfos permits white wine L'Chatchilla. He claims that the Gemara's Shaila of whether white wine is permitted was stated by Amarayim that had not heard of the Braisa that permits it. Had they heard of that Braisa, they surely would not have argued.
