If the time for Shaalos Seudos arrives, and a person is too full to eat a meal, the Ran in the name of Behag says that he should eat at least the amount of a  Beitza. This would make it into a more "established" meal.

On Shabbos, a person should be careful to eat the three Seudos, since it saves him from the pangs of Moshiach, from the judgement of Gehenim and from the war of Gog and Magog.

THE DRASHA

The Magen Avraham says that the Drasha a Rav gives on Shabbos in order to teach laymen Torah, should consist of P'sak Halacha in Issur V'Heter and lessons in Mussur. This is unlike the Minhag prevalent in his days that dealt with expounding on  Agadita. (The Bach adds that this was done in order for the Rabbi to show off the sharpness of his Drashas.)
