MAKING HAMOITZIE BEFORE HAVDALA

If someone makes Hamoitzie and realizes that he did not say Havdala yet, we Poskin differently than what was previously maintained about Kiddush, since Havdala cannot be made on bread. Rather, he should eat a small amount, so that his Hamoitzie would not be L'Vatala, then make Havdala.

The Magen Avraham says in the name of the Maharam that after Havdala it is necessary to make Hamoitzie again.

MAKING HAMOITZIE BEFORE KIDDUSH

If someone forgot to make Kiddush, washed his hands and made Hamoitzie (but did not start eating), then remembered that he had not made Kiddush.  Before starting to eat, he should say the Bracha of Kiddush over the bread.  The Magen Avraham says that before saying Kiddush, one should bring Lechem Mishna to the table. This would not be considered a Hefsik between the Hamoitzie and the eating since it is needed for the Kiddush.

ACCEPTING SHABBOS IN THE MIDDLE OF DRINKING (PART 2)

We already quoted the Rambam that if someone drinks wine after accepting upon himself to make Kiddush, he needs to make another Bracha Hagofen. The Taz asks why is this different than when we Paskined in Seif 4 that if the meal was stopped in order to make Kiddush, it is not necessary to make a Bracha on the Kiddush wine since the bracha over the wine was made earlier.
