The Mordichai writes that it is permissible to fold clothes, although not on their creases. The Shulchon Orech says it seems to me (that) his words (are correct, and not in accordance with those who argue with him).

MAKING A BED ON SHABBOS MORNING

SEIF 3 (Cont.)
The Mishna says that one cannot make his bed after getting up Shabbos morning with the intention of not using it again until after Shabbos. The Magen Avraham permits it if the bed is located in a room which is used during the day and makes the surroundings look messy if the bed is not made. Even though the Beer Sheva prohibits it, he still feels it may be permitted (refer to Simon 289). The Machtzis Hashekel explains that the Shulchon Orech points out that the bed can be made in the daytime, too. The Elya Rabba says that the Beer Sheva agrees that one may stretch a cover over the bed so it should not look messy.

FOLDING FROM YOM TOV TO SHABBOS

The Elya Rabba quotes the Mahrshal that someone may fold clothes on Yom Tov that falls out on Erev Shabbos, even if he does not need it until Shabbos, and only when an Eiruv Tavshilin is made.
