Does an Eved that wasn't freed obligated in this Mitzva? The Rambam doesn't give any inference one way or another. This seems to be an argument in Tosfos, hinging on how they learn a Yerushalmi.

A FREED EVED

A freed Eved is not Yoitze with the children he had when he was an Eved. How is this different than a Ger that is Yoitze with the children he had as a Goy?

The Minchas Chinuch says that really the woman can not do an Aveira so that the man can do his Mitzvah. So why then can a Yuvum do Yibum with someone who is a Lav to him? Since most forbidden relations are written for the male. The only reason why the female is forbidden is because of a Hekesh (they're written next to each other) to the male.
