The Rambam says that a son that doesn't have a Mila prevents the father from eating the Korbon Pesach only while he's a Koton. It would seem the reason that after he becomes an adult he doesn't affect the father is because he's not obligated to give him a Mila anymore. We could understand this, since the Pasuk only obligates the father on the eighth day, which would exclude an adult. Still, how does he know that the father is obligated to do it after the eighth day until he grows up?

FATHER'S OBLIGATION TO GIVE A MILAH TO HIS SON WHEN HE GROWS UP (CONTINUED)

 
All the other obligations that a father has for his sons, as it is brought in the Mishna in kiddushin, applies even when he grows up. The obligation of marrying him off doesn't apply until he grows up. The Chinuch says the father has an obligation for his son's Pidyan HaBen even after he becomes an adult. But the Milah is a Shaila, since the father's obligation is written on a eighth day Bris, then it's possible to assume it only extends to a son who's a Kotan.
 
But we can bring a proof from Tosfos in Kiddushin. Tosfos asks why do you need a Pasuk to exclude the mother, that she's exempt from performing a Milah to her son? Isn't it anyhow an Asei (positive command) that only applies at certain times (Zman Grama) which women anyhow are generally exempt from?

FATHER'S OBLIGATION TO GIVE A MILAH TO HIS SON


The Gemara says that the obligation is for the father to Mohel his son. If he doesn't, Bais Din needs to. If nobody gives him a Milah when he's a minor, then when he becomes Bar Mitzvah, the obligation is upon himself.
 
The Minchas Chinuch ponders if after the Bar Mitzva does the father still have his obligation. Does the obligation then switches completely to the son, or is just extended to the son, but is also on the father?
